About Us

Our Goal:

Our goal at Meritor Academy is to ensure children achieve the skills necessary to excel academically in a fun, safe and nurturing environment. To accommodate families requiring program flexibility.

Our Beginning:

Meritor Academy originated in August of 1990 as Children’s World Learning Center (CWLC), serving infants through age 5. CWLC was owned by the Aramark Educational Resources Corporation (AER) and operated as a child care provider.

In 1997, AER decided to become a privately held academic school and eliminated the infant - 2 years of age programs and expanded to include kindergarten, first, and second grade programs. At this time, the company's name was changed to Meritor Academy, North Andover and was one of eleven locations across America.

In 1999, the elementary age programs relocated to the Middleton, MA location.

In 2003, all of the AER educational facilites were acquired by the Knowledge Learning Corporation (KLC).

Who is Knowledge Learning Corporation?
